Lumina Anima

Founder

A life between disciplines and places.

Lumina Anima was founded by Arihant Ortega, a Barcelona-born artist, musician and teacher whose path has moved through craft, sound, contemplative practice, hospitality and years of living across Spain, India, Thailand and Vietnam.

He began as a maker and trader of handcrafted objects in Barcelona, later spending years in India studying yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, mantra and music. He went on to teach hundreds of students in international training programmes, while continuing a musical practice centred on guitar, bansuri and improvisation.

These experiences were never intended as ingredients for a brand. Over time, however, they formed a particular way of understanding atmosphere, attention and the relationship between people and place.

In Vietnam, experimentation with optical glass and local woodcraft gave that understanding a physical form. Light, sound, material, ritual, spatial experience and human encounter could finally enter the same body of work.

Lumina Anima is the vessel for that convergence, and for an ongoing attempt to create places and experiences that feel more alive, more particular and more human.
